Visiting the website

The website runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, in a data centre in Germany. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

When you visit, your browser transmits technically necessary data: your IP address, the page requested, date and time, and details of your browser and operating system. We only use this data to deliver the pages to you over an encrypted connection. We do not keep access logs.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a secure, working website.

No cookies, no third-party content

We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. Fonts, images and the video are hosted on our own server. No connections are made to Google Fonts, YouTube or other third parties. The video only loads when you start it.

Enquiry form and email

When you write to us via the form, we process your message and your email address and, if provided, your name, company and phone number. The details are sent by email to info@merayazilim.com. We only use them to answer your enquiry and stay in touch with you. The same applies if you email us directly.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a possible contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is answering enquiries.

For our mailbox and for sending the form emails we use Google Workspace by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).

We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. If it leads to an assignment, we keep the business correspondence for the statutory periods. If sending a form email fails in exceptional cases, the enquiry remains in the server's error log so that it is not lost. We delete it there as soon as we have dealt with it.

WhatsApp and phone

We link to WhatsApp. WhatsApp only opens when you click the link; no data is sent to WhatsApp before that. If you message us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Ireland) processes your data as an independent controller, and its privacy notice applies. If you prefer not to use it, you can reach us just as well by email or phone.

We only use messages and calls to respond to your request. As with the form, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

Processing from Turkey

We are based in Bursa (Turkey) and handle your enquiry from there. There is no adequacy decision of the European Commission for Turkey. Because our services are aimed at businesses in the EU, the GDPR nevertheless applies to us directly (Art. 3(2) GDPR). Your rights therefore apply in full.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to

• access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
• have data erased (Art. 17 GDPR) or its processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR),
• receive your data in a common format (Art. 20 GDPR),
• object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).

An email to info@merayazilim.com is enough.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work (Art. 77 GDPR).

No obligation, no automated decisions

You are not obliged to give us any data. Without a message and an email address, however, we cannot answer a form enquiry. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
